As an Assistant to Assistive Technology Specialists (ATS), you’ll play a vital role in ensuring individuals receive the communication tools they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities
- Device & Equipment Support – Assist in setting up and programming speech-generating devices, alternative access methods, and mounting systems for client setups.
- Scheduling & Coordination – Help schedule customer visits and training sessions to ensure smooth operations.
- Client Interaction & Documentation – Maintain accurate records of interactions, customer feedback, and follow-ups to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- SLP & Family Engagement – Assist in managing communication with Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) and families as needed.
- Logistics Management – Oversee the coordination of monthly loan equipment meetings and device distribution.
- Customer Support – Respond to customer inquiries when appropriate, escalating them to ATS team members when necessary.
- Team Collaboration – Participate in team meetings, training, and discussions to enhance service and efficiency.
- Additional Duties – Perform other assigned tasks to support the team’s overall effectiveness.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in administrative or technical support, ideally within assistive technology, healthcare, or a related field
- Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is beneficial but not required
