HireUp Talent is looking for a Vice President of Program Management (VP) to serve as an executive leader driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and client satisfaction across key departments. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership to ensure efficient program delivery, organizational growth, and long-term success.

 

Location: Remote with Travel (must reside in AL, IL, FL, MD, MT, NC, NJ, NY, OR, SC, TN, TX)

 

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the VP will lead Community Relations and Field Operations, Program Support Services, and Program Compliance and Training departments, focusing on strategy, innovation, and performance optimization. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the VP will leverage data-driven analysis and reporting to make informed decisions and achieve organizational objectives.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Change Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for program management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics to identify trends, optimize workflows, and drive strategic outcomes.

Financial Leadership and Accountability

  • Lead budgeting and financial planning across all departments, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Conduct financial performance reviews, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation while maintaining service excellence.
  • Provide executive-level recommendations based on in-depth financial analysis to support organizational decision-making.

Program Operations Excellence

  • Lead Community Relations and Field Operations, Program Support Services, and Program Compliance and Training departments to ensure seamless, high-quality operations.
  • Drive operational efficiencies across all programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and exceeding client expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of agile project management methodologies to enhance flexibility, collaboration, and performance.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Foster professional growth and development across all levels of the organization, ensuring readiness for future leadership roles.
  • Serve as a role model for ethical decision-making and strategic leadership.

Client Relations and Community Engagement

  • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen client relationships, improve retention, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Address client and community feedback proactively, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent the organization at public forums, leadership meetings, and community events to build trust and credibility.

Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance

  • Proactively identify risks across programs and develop robust mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes, providing strategic guidance to adapt organizational practices and maintain compliance.

Data-Driven Performance Optimization

  • Utilize data-driven reporting and analytics to track performance metrics, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Deliver high-level reports and insights to the CEO and key stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes.
  • Continuously monitor and refine processes to optimize program quality and operational success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Experience

  • 10 years of experience in program management, including 7 years in executive leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high performance.
  • Extensive experience in data-driven analysis, agile project management, and executive decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and operational excellence.

Travel Requirement: Significant, up to 75%

 

This role requires extensive travel, up to 75% of the year, to lead high-stakes client initiatives, strategic planning sessions, and advanced training programs. Travel may involve multi-week stays at client sites for large-scale engagements. Additionally, attendance at industry conferences and policy briefings may be required to stay informed on evolving trends and regulatory changes.
