Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient practice in Bakersfield, CA. This role offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates with Neurology training or experienced providers to build a rewarding career in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive neurology care for patients aged 16 and older.
- Conduct initial consultations and follow-up visits (10-15 patients daily during adaptation, increasing to 16-20 patients).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatments, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records for patient care documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid FNP or PA degree
- California FNP/PA certification
- Open to new graduates with Neurology NP/PA training
- Preferred: 1-2 years of Neurology experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
