Outpatient Program Director – Chapel Hill, NC

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outpatient Program Director to oversee the safe, effective, and appropriate delivery of clinical and medical services in our Outpatient Clinic and Halfway Houses. This role involves clinical oversight, administrative leadership, staff supervision, program evaluation, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical & Operational Oversight: Manage clinical assessments, treatment plans, aftercare planning, census management, charting, and billing.
- Staff Leadership & Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise clinicians, house managers, and other staff members.
- Program Performance & Evaluation: Work with the Clinical Director & CEO to assess budgeting, staffing, and overall program effectiveness.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Oversee chart audits, CARF preparation, post-payment monitoring, and peer reviews to ensure high standards.
- Community Engagement: Serve as a representative in committees, boards, and partnerships to enhance program visibility and community relations.
- Growth & Development: Develop opportunities for program expansion and ensure full occupancy of halfway house beds.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a Medical-related field.
- Active License: LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or LCAS (Required).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in social work, nursing, counseling, healthcare management, or mental health/substance abuse services with director or supervisory experience.
- Medicaid/IPRS Experience: Familiarity with mental health and substance abuse caseloads.
