Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff and patient care activities within a healthcare facility, ensuring quality care delivery and adherence to protocols and standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Provide guidance and support to nursing team members
- Monitor patient care plans and ensure their proper implementation
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assist in medical-surgical procedures
- Perform triage, vital sign monitoring, IV insertions, and infection control procedures
- Administer inhalation treatments and assist with family planning services
- Oversee infant care practices and provide education on various health topics
Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in IV insertion, patient care, triage, vital signs assessment, and infection control practices
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and diagnostic evaluations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,900.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
