THE ROLE
We are seeking a Director of eCommerce to lead the website growth strategy for our client's retail division across all markets. This role will focus on driving sustainable growth for the online channel, optimizing user experience, and improving site performance. You will manage a high-performing team and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to align eCommerce goals with broader business objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing site navigation, customer engagement strategies, and driving conversions through data-driven decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
- Lead digital roadmap development, collaborating with product and engineering teams
- Optimize the online customer experience, focusing on navigation, functionality, and mobile-first design
- Partner with digital marketing to align site content, media strategy, and landing pages to drive conversions
- Oversee website merchandising, content strategy, and SEO for desktop, mobile, and mobile app
- Manage KPIs including traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and retention metrics
- Use data analytics to drive insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize website performance
- Coach and mentor a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering innovation and results-driven culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, creative, finance, etc.) to drive business
- Manage external vendor relationships and ensure alignment with eCommerce goals
