Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide airway management and ventilate patients when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
- Assist in the management of patients with various conditions, including those requiring specialized memory care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures in all patient interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in an ICU, nursing home, or memory care setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in patient care techniques, including airway management and aliment support.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential for success in this role.
