What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Med/Surg position at Hirextra Inc?
SHIFT: FT-Days/Nights, 3 -12 Hour Shifts per week 7am - 7pm/7pm-7a
- Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
- Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Educates patients on surgical procedures.
- Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.
Required:
- 1 years of medicine Med/Surg experience in an Acute Care inpatient hospital setting
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
License/Certification
- RN – Registered Nurse
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
