Software Engineer (SDET), Performance/Load Tester

Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite for Final Interview)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct performance testing using JMeter Performance Testing (mandatory) and Gatling (strongly preferred, essentially required).
2. Coding and systems design testing
3. Need to have testing in Java software environment.
4. Write and execute test automation for backend testing, including APIs, MQ, and Oracle databases.
5. Develop and implement performance testing scripts with a deep understanding of performance testing principles and objectives.
6. Plan and execute comprehensive backend testing strategies in a Java software environment.
7. Prepare systems for migration to the cloud (AWS) in the near future.
8. Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure system design and testing align with project requirements.

Tech Environment:

1. Programming Languages/Tools: Java, JMeter, Gatling, API Testing, Test Automation.
2. Tech Stack: Kafka, MQ, Oracle, AWS.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in performance testing; candidates with more experience are preferred (senior candidates may be considered with adjusted rates).
2. Strong background in Java testing environments, with experience in coding, systems design, and automation.
3. Demonstrated ability to conduct backend performance testing and understand its objectives and outcomes.
4. Proficiency in writing performance testing scripts and analyzing test results.
5. Familiarity with EWS tech environment is a plus.

Interview Process:

1. Technical Round: Coding and systems design test.
2. Final Round: In-person interview in Scottsdale, AZ.
