We are seeking a sharp Tennessee licensed family law attorney who will passionately advocate for our clients in a range of family law issues. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling adoptions, terminations of parental rights, dependency and neglect, custody cases, and divorces. You will be responsible for representing clients in court hearings, drafting legal documents, and maintaining organized client files. Strong litigation skills and the ability to navigate emotionally charged situations are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients effectively in court hearings
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to manage case files
- Handle division of marital assets during divorce proceedings
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Communicate compassionately and routinely with clients
- Attend court hearings in Knox County and surrounding counties as required
Qualifications:
- Tennessee licensed attorney with experience in family law
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations
- Comfortable advocating for both plaintiffs and defendants
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a courtroom setting and advocate aggressively for clients
Compensation and perks:
- From $100,000 (depends on experience)
- 2 weeks paid vacation, all federal and local holidays, 3 days bereavement
- Covered professional privilege tax, annual license fee and prearranged CLEs
