Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Director to oversee surgical services in our facility. The ideal candidate must be familiar with scrubbing, circulating, pre-op, and post-op processes and should be willing to assist in cases when needed.
Our facility has 2 operating rooms performing 100-150 surgeries per month, including:
- Orthopedic: Hip and total knee replacements
- General Surgery: Gallbladder procedures
- Ophthalmology: Cataract surgeries
- Pain Management
- Podiatry
No on-call or after-hours requirements at this time.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: BSN required; MSN preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; CNOR is a plus
- Experience:
- Previous OR Director experience preferred
- Experience working in smaller facilities is highly desired
- Meditech experience is a plus

Responsibilities

- Ensure proper documentation of medical records and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate training and development for nursing staff, promoting best practices in critical and acute care settings.
