Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in patient treatment, apply therapeutic modalities, and ensure effective therapy sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work with patients of all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Qualifications:
- Oklahoma State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or an Oklahoma Temporary Permit under direct supervision pending permanent licensure. (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
