Diesel Technician - Automotive
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines and related components.
- Conduct performance tests on diesel engines to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Replace or repair defective parts, such as sensors, fuel injectors, and turbochargers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification or technical training in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Minimum of two years' experience working as a Diesel Technician.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
