Your Role with the Company
As Chief Sales Strategist, you will lead the sales department, develop strategic plans, and drive growth in the power electronics sector. Your role involves engaging with customers, collaborating with internal teams, and analyzing market trends to inform business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the sales department, comprising 3-4 personnel.Achieve sales targets and design plans for continued growth.Contribute to strategic management meetings supporting sales, product planning, and related initiatives.Ensure leads are qualified and responded to promptly.Guide team members in identifying key customer technical requirements, recommending appropriate products, and supporting all aspects of customer proposal preparation and negotiations.Utilize CRM software to record key sales activities, create and provide sales reports and forecasts, and ensure timely customer engagement.Attend industry technical events and support trade show exhibits.What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a similar technical field (may be waived with extensive work experience).7 years of successful B2B sales / business development with related products, including a minimum of 3 years in the defense industry. Experience in full-cycle projects is highly desirable.Proficiency in CRM systems for lead tracking, quoting, reporting, and team collaboration. Skilled in developing real-time integrated sales-related business intelligence tools for internal company executives and team members.Ability to travel domestically (~25%) throughout the U.S.Preferred Qualifications
7 years of experience selling to defense contractors and / or directly to the Department of Defense.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.Knowledge of defense industry practices, contract regulations, and engineering standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, etc.Knowledge of electronics design, development, and manufacturing.Knowledge of power converters and power-related parameters / specifications.Eligibility / ability to obtain U.S. security clearance (with company sponsorship).Compensation Details
