Your Role with the Company Step into a highly visible role where you'll drive health, safety, and environmental compliance at the specialty chemical manufacturing site. You'll own the Health & Safety programs from day one, shaping and influencing a culture of safety across the entire facility. This is your opportunity to take the reins in a newly created position, where you'll make a tangible impact by implementing best practices, overseeing ISO14001 and ISO9001 compliance, and preparing the groundwork to eventually bring environmental compliance programs in-house.
The company is looking for a proactive leader who can champion safety initiatives, gain buy-in across departments, and elevate the site’s safety standards to new heights.

Background Profile
Expertise in Health & Safety program management within a chemical manufacturing environment
5 years of experience in health and safety roles in a chemical (or related) manufacturing plant
Exposure to ISO14001, ISO9001, and OSHA compliance programs
Working knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance is a plus
CSP or CIH certification is highly desirable
B.S. in Safety, Health, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Self-starter with the ability to influence and gain buy-in across all levels of the organization
Salary Range : $120,000 - $140,000 (plus bonus eligibility)
