The Senior Scheduler manages construction schedules using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects, coordinates client reporting, oversees resource needs, and provides schedule updates, including three-week look-aheads. Responsibilities include schedule analysis, progress reports, and Time Impact Analyses (TIA).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules for efficient execution.
- Prepare baseline schedules and assess critical path impacts.
- Track variances, propose corrective actions, and report progress.
- Ensure schedule accuracy and document changes.
- Review subcontractor schedules and validate logic / float paths.
- Collaborate with teams to sequence work and meet milestones.
- Analyze change order impacts and resource-load schedules.
- Conduct site visits, facilitate scheduling meetings, and mentor planners.
- Document lessons learned at project closeout.
