Job Description
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling windows and doors. Team assemblers can perform all tasks in the assembly process, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Assemble window and door units to assure proper fit, form, and function.
· Measure and verify glass openings to job specifications or order sheets.
· Recognize and handle hardware components, mortises, and prepare window and door units for hardware, while verifying correct fit and function.
· Read and understand work orders and shop drawings to determine product specifications or materials requirements.
· Understand and safely operate hand tools and stationary wood working equipment as required to complete processes.
· Understand and use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring instruments, and be able to convert between inches / feet to metric.
· Perform quality checks and inspect products and components throughout processes. for accuracy, completeness, and compatibility to job specifications and company standards.

· Ability to safely operate machines and woodworking tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift or move 50 lbs.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable, Safety PPE is provided. Work is conducted indoors. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
