Position Summary
Are you detail-oriented with a strong background in medical device manufacturing and precision components?
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will ensure the consistent quality of our machined components by performing inspections and supporting production in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining and familiarity with medical manufacturing standards, such as ISO 13485.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the daily inspection tasks required to support manufacturing production. Being a member of this team, you are responsible for performing inspections to ensure that products and service of the highest level of quality are produced in accordance with the Hirsh Production System.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with others and find a solution while under a tight schedule.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Lab Production Support
- Prioritize tasks, ensuring priorities are executed according to production schedule.
- Operate CMMs to perform in-process inspections.
- Perform First Article, manual and receiving inspections using measuring equipment and systems.
- Prepare and tear down inspection equipment kits.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection laboratory.
