Summary / Position Purpose:
TestEquity LLC is seeking an experienced, high-energy Account Executive who will provide the highest level of service to our customers while facilitating, and winning sales. It is critical that that AE candidates understand technical capabilities of products and their use. Interested candidates must possess knowledge of the Electronic Production industries customers’ needs in both R&D and product environments and, are capable of navigating to TestEquity solutions and resources on behalf of those customers.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Quoting and booking orders
- Determining the best solutions and products to offer the customer
- Accurate entry of information and utilization of ERP system
- Responsible for pricing according to guidelines
- Obtain pricing approval as needed in competitive situations
- Work closely with Product Management to understand products and solve customer's product needs
- Responsible for establishing relationships with customers, working closely with field sales and manufacturers sales representatives in a professional manner to provide customers with a timely response to all inquiries, i.e., pricing, problems, or recommendations
- Responsible for sharing information on all new quote/companies to form strategies for account penetration with field sales
- Responsible for maintaining educated knowledge of products while keeping abreast of new technology to provide the best solution or substitute for customers’ needs
- Responsible for keeping all contact data-base updated with regards to quotes and follow up dates
- Responsible for distributing TestEquity documentation and specific marketing emails
- Indirectly responsible for product quality
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- BS EE Degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years)
- Basic electronics theory, DC and AC circuits a plus
- Digital electronics basics, technology and manufacturing basics including industry standards, practices, common components
- Knowledge of the Electronics industry including test processes, and production processes
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide successful solutions
- Directly and indirectly responsible for product quality
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
