HIS Constructors, Inc is seeking a Contract Administrator. This person oversees the administrative functions related to project control, documentation, and billing. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Organization and attention to detail are critical for specific tasks and also for general office functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage subcontract documents
- Review, research and correct daily submittals
- Project cost accounting
- Responsible for all project purchase order/payable approval
- Responsible for all project billing documentation
- Prepare project weekly status and cost reports with variance analysis
- Monthly cost to complete analysis
- Update project files as needed
- Coordinate submittal of all required project documents
- Viewpoint data base management
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Two or more years of related experience and/or
- A bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration, accounting, or construction management.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
Job Performance Skills Needed:
- Ability to read and comprehend documents
- Ability to create, run and evaluate routine reports
- Ability to document procedures.
- Effectively present information one-on-one and small group situation
- Possess high verbal skills
- Basic Mathematic skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Proficient with Microsoft products
- Viewpoint experience a plus.
Other required skills/abilities:
- Minimum 40 hour work week; work extra hours/weekends when required
- 45-50 wpm typing skills
- Strong 10-key skills
- Able to work on multiple projects
- Work with confidential information
- Organized
- Cost accounting experience
- Good communication skills
