Job Summary:
The Shipping Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing customer orders for shipment. This role involves picking, packing, and labeling products, as well as ensuring that all shipments meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company procedures.
- Verify product quantities and quality before packaging to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and company standards.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work area, including inventory management and storage.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to coordinate the timely dispatch of orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the returns processing and restocking of returned items when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records if shipments, including tracking information and shipping documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, or warehouse operations, preferably in the paint or manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [75] lbs. and stand for extended periods.
