JOB SUMMARY
Provides technical support for career and technical education programs at schools. Responsibilities include delivering training to teachers, assisting with equipment needs, developing localized business partnerships for individual campuses, developing curriculum, fielding inquiries from staff, and ensuring programmatic fidelity at the campus level.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops curricular and instructional materials for middle and high school CTE courses with an emphasis on project-based learning and integrated units of study.
- Provides professional development to teachers, administrators, and counselors on a variety of topics including instructional practice, curricular considerations, available resources, and CTE related processes.
- Supports campus counselors with the scheduling process to ensure that students are properly placed in CTE sequences.
- Provides direction to campus leaders and CTE department chairs on funding, online resources, programming, and compliance.
- Liaises with business partners to develop school-based partnerships related to individual CTE programs.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree; Master's Degree preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years
CTE experience preferred
Counseling experience preferred

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees, but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent.
