The After Sales Support Specialist will have the primary responsibilities of supporting HVAC remote technical support, Hi-Tech app support, and the warranty and repair parts process for residential and light commercial products.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 remote troubleshooting assistance for residential contractors and distributors.
- Assist the HVAC After Sales Support Team by developing installation and troubleshooting content, videos, future vision, and best practices for the Hisense Comfort Hi-Tech service and support app.
- Coordinate Hisense HVAC parts inventory and availability and assist in the development of tools for customers and Hisense team to easily view, order, and track warranty and service parts.
- Manage the Hisense HVAC parts and labor warranty processes, insuring proper registration, documentation, communication, payment, and online/app visibility of parts and labor warranty registration.
- Support the process of fulfillment of parts and warranty claims to ensure quick resolution and immediate delivery or credits for required systems or parts.
- Provide online or in-person technical training and assistance, in support of the Hisense Regional Sales and Service teams.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting key business and leadership objectives.
- 2 Year Associate's Degree or HVAC related technical certification required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2 years in-field product support on residential and light commercial HVAC systems (Unitary, Ductless, Packaged Units, Rooftop Units, etc).
- Ability to provide online training and support customers with warranty, service parts, and technical support.
- Excellent communications skills, and the ability to give professional presentations and instructions.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
- Ability to problem solve and multitask.
- Ability to work well in groups and take instruction from others.
