Consultant Services for Implementation of "Por Nosotros" Program

Overview 

Hispanic Federation invites proposals from qualified consultants to implement the "Por Nosotros" program, an initiative aimed at improving the mental and physical health of Latino adults. The program will empower participants with the knowledge and tools to enhance their lives through a positive outlook, effective challenge management, and healthier lifestyles. Cohorts will be taught in Spanish using a curriculum provided by Hispanic Federation, which the consultant may adapt to meet group needs while adhering to its core structure. 

Scope of Work 

The consultant will: 

• Adapt and deliver seven culturally sensitive educational modules. 

• Recruit and manage one cohort of 25 participants, ensuring engagement and understanding through 10 in-person meetings over six months. 

• Organize and facilitate three wellness activities, including yoga, cooking, and Zumba. 

• Conduct pre- and post-program surveys to assess participant progress. 

• Provide detailed interim and final reports quarterlyto track progress, social media outreach, outreach efforts, achievements, and challenges. 

• Maintain communication with participants for six months post-program to monitor the implementation of learned skills. 

Deliverables 

1. Interim Reports: Detailed updates on progress, obstacles, and achievements submitted through links provided by Hispanic Federation by May 15 and August 15.  

1. Final Report: Comprehensive report due by November 15, 2025, including participant impact, workshop summaries, and success stories. 

Term and Compensation 

• Term: March 01, 2025 – December 30, 2025. 

• Compensation: $60/hour for up to 70 hours per cohort of 25 participants. Payments will be made monthly upon receipt of a detailed invoice and completed W-9. 

Submission Requirements 

Qualified consultants are invited to submit a proposal that includes the following: 

1. Consultant Profile: A summary of qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise. 

1. Implementation Plan: A detailed description of the approach to fulfilling the Scope of Work. 

1. Budget: Itemized costs based on the hourly rate and estimated hours for each activity. 

1. References: Contact information for at least two clients familiar with the consultant’s work. 

Evaluation Criteria 

Proposals will be evaluated based on: 

• Relevant experience and expertise. 

• Feasibility and innovation in the proposed implementation plan. 

• Demonstrated ability to meet program goals within budget and timeline. 

• Clarity and completeness of the proposal.
