Who We Seek
Hispanic Federation seeks a Workforce Initiatives Program Manager to support and advance digital programs and initiatives in the State of Florida. The Workforce Initiatives Program serves Florida’s underserved community who hold credentials from outside the United States and have work authorization in the United States. The program’s goal is to ensure newly arrived and highly skilled professionals can work in their area of training and / or expertise. The Program Manager will work closely with community members enrolled in the program and support their job readiness through employment training, resume evaluation, and career advancement services.
Reporting to the Director for Digital Initiatives, FL the Digital Initiatives Program Manager will provide critical administrative and programmatic support with Florida digital programs and collaborate as needed with staff members to ensure that HF´s institutional objectives are met.
This position is hybrid and will require 50% presence (at least 10 days per month) onsite at events in the office. The position will work out of Hispanic Federation’s Offices in Orlando, Florida.

Status: Position is full-time, with funding secured until December 2027 with a possibility for extension

Responsibilities

Communicate clearly with all program participants, currently 70 active community members, and ensure they are aware of all programmatic updates and services available to them.

Execute training around employment-based topics (ex. resume building, digital literacy and skills, and other avenues of professional growth).

Expand workforce programs by engaging with the community to conduct outreach, promote the program, interact with potential participants, provide orientation, process applications, and guide them through onboarding.

Track impacts and outcomes, prepare reports as required for reporting and internal use; measure participant outcomes and receive feedback.

Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and prepare programmatic reports.

Maintain accurate records and provide timely financial and program activity reports on grants and program initiatives to Workforce Initiatives team.

Serve as the point of contact for all onsite events related to Workforce Initiatives, prepare venues for training and other events.

Manage collaboration between operations and finance to ensure all events are executed seamlessly.

Support other programs as necessary with tasks assigned as needed.
Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of experience with workforce development is required; experience with delivery of digital services is strongly preferred.

Exposure to digital skills tools, such as Google Trainings or Coursera, is strongly preferred.

Proficiency with Office 365, Google Workspace, and other digital tools is required.

A highly collaborative style is required; experience supporting programs is an asset.

Outreach and event coordination experience.

Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys supporting and implementing new initiatives.

Excellent, well-developed verbal and writing skills in English are essential.

Ability to communicate in written or verbal Spanish is required.

Compensation
Position salary starting at $50,000 -$60,000 and salary is and is commensurate with experience. Compensation comes with a robust benefits package with a fully subsidized medical, dental, vision insurance upon starting employment, 403(B) retirement plans with a company match after 6 months, and access to flexible spending and pre-tax commuter benefits.
First year employees of the Hispanic Federation receive a PTO package with 15 days designated for vacation, 4 Personal Days, and 8 Sick Days annually.
