Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Schedule appointments.
- Assist the Senior Coordinator with senior-related services, including home visits, transportation, and basic needs support.
- Conduct client intake, ensuring all required documentation and notations are properly recorded.
- Refer clients to appropriate agencies and programs based on their needs.
- Assist clients with forms, translations, and document processing.
- Determine client eligibility and priority of needs.
- Prepare initial client intake assessments.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and filing of client information.
- Attend required meetings.
- Assist other staff and team members as required.
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
- Lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Perform general cleaning and organizing.
- Learn and utilize programs to better assist clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer support role is preferred.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. (required)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in basic office software.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in administrative duties including filing and data management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
