Key Responsibilities:
- Your role is to ensure timely execution of our Line-of-Business Horizon software releases.. This process includes careful planning, scheduling and supporting Weekly, Monthly and Weekend releases.
- You will also have additional roles and responsibilities which include maintaining our knowledge documents Confluence sites, Kanban boards as well as generating and maintaining release metrics.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for generating comprehensive release plans that lay out important tasks with clear timelines as well as status emails which are utilized during our release deployments.
- Responsible for supporting Weekly, Monthly and Weekend release calls, which require task plan execution as well as monitoring release deployment progression and communicating hourly status email updates.
- RM Support Timings: Support Weekly, Monthly Weekend release deployments
- Attend various release planning sessions during the release life cycle.
- Work with Product Owners and technical leads to generate release i-plans plans, reviews and project requirements.
- Monitor, coordinate and release builds, as well as monitor Technical Business validations.
- Monitor the integration, and deployment of software releases modules to ensure the release platform is stable, functional in time for testing.
- Manage release risks and resolve issues in a timely manner that might potentially hinder the release quality, and timeline.
- Schedule all release-related meetings during the release life-cycle.
- Support Dark-Pod Build Testing activities as well as Go-Live Swing live Technical Business validations.
- Continuous service improvement mindset.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Experience with JIRA is required
- Experience in building and maintaining Confluence Dashboard Pages is also a requirement
- Tool requirements also include: Kamban Boards, Microsoft Suite of Products and Release Metrics
- HS Diploma / GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
- Candidates for this role should possess advanced technical skills which include a thorough understanding of toggling features, branch handling, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- You should be capable of implementing suitable methodologies and practices
- Along with the technical skills, the Release Managers should possess soft skills to drive essential changes to communicate, coordinate, and handle various teams within the organization
- Tableau and XLR are nice to have
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
