Job Description
The Operations Support personnel will be responsible for business operations including marketing/advertising, video editing, product photography, order fulfillment, inventory audits, regulatory responsibilities, and other business tasks assigned by the Business Manager. This is an opportunity to pick up diverse skill sets, including product photography, learning how to run a successful e-commerce business, firearms regulatory compliance, and international import/export.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in working in a firearms business, and working knowledge of Videography/photography. Other responsibilities may include image editing, auditing inventory, supporting regulated importation procedures, and import marking.
The current position is for part time support, with opportunity for contract renewal or other potential employment options after a 20-week evaluation period.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of product videography/photography
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately, with an extremely low error rate
- High attention to detail, as the firearms industry is regulated by government bodies such as the ATF
- Experience working in a commercial firearms business or regulated industry is a plus
- Interest in historic firearms and collectable antiques
- Strong creative presence and artistic flair
- Comfortable with technology, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and cloud based image storage
- Experience in GIMP for image editing is a plus
- Experience in video editing with software such as ShotCut is a plus
Responsibilities
- Photograph products, and utilize computer systems to name, upload, organize, and transfer images within Google Suite. Work with the Owner to transcribe details about the product, including descriptions, titles, and prices.
- Support the creation of a social media brand/presence; help shoot, edit and publish YouTube Shorts and full videos.
- Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures in the absence of the Business Manager
- Knowledge/experience in firearm industry (not required, we are fully prepared to train on gun knowledge, but a huge plus)
- Must adhere to established laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the ATF. Must be able to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform inventory audits to ensure firearms have been recorded in business records in a compliant fashion
- Able to kneel, squat, bend, or climb to take pictures. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be 21
- Cleared Federal Criminal Background Check; our business maintains an ATF permit.
- Documents for eligibility to work in the United States must be presented upon hire.
Hourly rate: $18/hr
Working Location: In person
Estimated hours per week: 8 hours/day, 3 days/week
Working days: Mon, Wed, and Fri, with occasional Saturdays
