Description: Historic New England seeks a seasonal, part-time Program Assistant to work at Langdon House for the 2025 season. The Program Assistant will conduct tours of the museum property and assist with daily museum operations including ticket and membership sales. In addition, the Program Assistant will participate in daily care of the museum spaces and collections, support the day-to-day administration of the site, and oversee daily visitor center operations, with the goal of providing superior customer service. Finally, the Program Assistant, assists with or conducts programs, conducts specialty tours and programs, including private and VIP tours, and works with the Site Manager to research and develop new events and experiences. Responsible for decision making in absence of the Site Manager. Training is provided.
Qualifications: Applicants should enjoy working with the public, have excellent communication skills, have an interest in inclusive history, and be comfortable working with computers. Experience in customer service desirable. Must be available some evenings and weekend days, have a flexible schedule, and commit to employment through the end of the 2025 season, June - October.
