What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson position at Historic Santa Maria Inn?
Job Summary:
Responsible for stocking the housekeeping supplies for various housekeeping function in the hotel and cleaning the guest hallways. Brings essential item to guests rooms and assist in laundry.
Essential Functions
- Deliver linen or other essentials to guests rooms and the Front Desk throughout the evening as needed
- Removes soiled linen from the rooms and takes to the laundry room to be cleaned.
- Collect dirty glasses frequently
- Work in a safe manner
- Pick up clean glasses; deliver to each floors closet
- Remove dirty glasses form each cart, linen room, hallways, and vending areas
- Remove cots and cribs, miscellaneous items from the hallway
- Wipes down vending areas in the guest corridors
- Vacuum hallways and corridors
- Complete all special assignments
- Help storage monthly supply
