Position Summary
Our Janitor/Groundskeeper handles general maintenance duties including, but are not limited to the following: Gather and empty trash; service, clean and supply restrooms; clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming; clean windows and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges or squeegees; dust furniture, walls, fixtures and office machines; sweep outdoor walkways, trim vegetation/grass and keep grounds free of litter and weeds; change A/C filters monthly and change light bulbs as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to determine the type of tool and equipment needed to do a job.
- Ability to read, write and speak clear English in order to communicate with co-workers and the general public.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to lift, lower and carry items that typically weigh 25 - 50 pounds varying distances and ascend and descend stairs and/or ladders.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Valid Florida Driver's License preferred with acceptable driving record for the past three years
