Description
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for effective and efficient operator of the assigned work area.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of operations.
- Foster a culture of encouragement and motivation that is conducive to helping production team members succeed in their role.
- Providing all necessary supplies for the assigned area.
- Enforce all applicable regional and local policies and procedures.
- Encourage and support problem-solving activities.
- Maintain exceptional 5S in assigned area.
- Achieve production attainment and efficiency in assigned area.
- Facilitate, document, and track process training in assigned area.
- Control cost of processes in assigned area.
- Directly oversee direct and direct non-standard employees in the department.
Knowledge, skills & abilities :
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications (including, but not limited to : Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and current ERP system). Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner.
