Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required. This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Must work from specifications, manuals, drawings, established procedures, written and verbal instructions. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or Associates Degree preferred.
Experience
Less than 3 years prior related experience preferred.
Supervisory responsibilities may be possible to perform the job duties as designated by area management.
Working Conditions
Physical Demands:
Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work 40 – 60 hours per week, including weekends and holiday work. Overhead work and working at heights when necessary.
Travel
Minimal domestic travel may be required as needed.
Work Environment
Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to office and laboratory areas.

- Verifying production and incoming parts are to specifications & print
- Assisting in root cause analysis
- Participating in Kaizen activities, and maintaining good 4C efforts.
- Helping production operators correct line defects Assisting in the reduction of defects from the production lines and/or from suppliers
- Training operators in Quality Measurement techniques and reports
- Supporting production lines for SPC
- Issuing MIR’s: following up on MIR disposition
- Assisting I sort/rework as necessary
- Performing PS LAYOUT AND TESTING
- Participating in advance quality planning
- Obeying all safety rules
- Cooperating with all other personnel as necessary
