What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technical Staff position at Hitachi Astemo?
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to monitor and maintain the facility equipment used in the manufacturing process as well as provide daily customer support.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment using standardized root cause analysis
- Perform TPM's
- Additional duties as prescribed by the coordinators
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years related work experience
- Valid N.C. Driver license
- Experience with electrical voltages (120,208,480) ability to wire motors and knowledge of wiring color codes
- 2 years related work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting with facility maintenance experience
- 1 year conduit/tubing bending, electrical installation utilizing the National Electrical Code
Preferred Qualifications
: * 2-year Associate's Degree in relevant field
- 2 years' experience with HVAC equipment repairs/troubleshooting and system refrigeration recovery license
- Standards (NEC) and troubleshooting experience
- Forklift and scissor lift license
- HVAC experience and the ability to explain the HVAC refrigeration circuit with devices (recovery license must be obtained within 1 year of hiring)
- Successful completion of an intro level National Electrical Code Class (NEC)
