Main Responsibilities:
- Test Development and Implementation: Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design, develop, and implement customized brake tests, leveraging expertise in mechanical systems and analytical techniques.
- Lab Operations and Maintenance: Ensure smooth laboratory operations, including routine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test data, identify trends, and compile detailed reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with colleagues across departments to ensure effective communication, coordination, and successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2-year technical degree is preferred, and 3 years of testing experience is desired.
- Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a laboratory environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting moderate weights (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
- Travel Expectations: Occasional domestic travel (less than 10%) may be required.
