What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Internship position at Hitachi Astemo?
Summary : The applicant would be constructing a customer scorecard dashboard that summarizes performance metrics specified by each customer and for each Astemo North America manufacturing site. Using customer interfacing portals, scorecard information would be exported, key scorecard performance metrics selected, and the data transferred over to a dashboard summary. The Applicant would be required to work closely with the Corporate Quality team and AM Region QA members to setup a centralized storage location for all customer scorecards to be archived and to confirm the dashboard data is accurate and free from errors.
Essential Functions : Includes the following :
- Retrieve customer scorecard information from customer portals based on customer release updates
- Construct dashboard summary (by customer / by AM Region manufacturing site)
- Support Corporate Quality Department Synergy activities.
- Collaborate with team to ensure all identified key performance metrics are included in the dashboard summary
- Create centralized storage location for archive of customer scorecards.
- Provide continuous updates to Sr. Manager & Sr. Director of Quality on project status.
Qualifications :
Knowledge, skills & abilities :
Education : Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology or Computer Science
Experience : Project model building utilizing data from multiple sources
Supervisory Responsibilities : N / A
