Job Description Summary
The role of Shipping Associate includes packing, labeling, and organizing outgoing orders based on customer specifications and shipping requirements. The Shipping Associate ensures that all shipments are properly documented, packed securely, and dispatched in a timely manner to meet delivery schedules. The position requires close coordination with inventory, production, and logistics teams to ensure a smooth flow of orders from the manufacturing facility to external locations.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Confirm actual parts received equals Packing Slip
- Pull parts and supply the PCU assembly area & other areas as needed
- Track FIFO
- Support Plant Operations
- Work at a fast pace safely
- Support production needs
- Cover for Associate Absences
- Prepare for and Support Physical Inventory
- Daily 6S requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift, tug, and/or push up to 45 pounds consistently
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, based on production needs
- Support production lines by delivering empty packaging and picking up full packaging
- Loading and uploading trailers on the Shipping dock
- Assisting the Shipping department in keeping the area safe, clean, and organized
