Job Description Summary
This position will be part of the xEV Regional PE group for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for activity and support for Inverter programs. The purpose for the position will be to support activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to Inverter products. The specific area of expertise will be for electrical / electronic function and testing ( low and high voltage). The overall requirements of the position are to ensure that production equipment operates to equipment specifications and produces products based on the product specifications and customer requirements, including ensuring that equipment is verified and qualified for mass production utilization.
This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include :
- Ensure equipment specifications to produce products and align with regional requirements.
- Confirm that the equipment is installed and meets the required specification.
- Ensure that equipment is safe to utilize for all associates.
- Confirm that all product requirements are met through online testing, including the verification (daily and validation)
- Assist other departments in setting up testing trials / experiments for customer / internal troubles, including countermeasure activity as needed.
