How You'll Make an Impact
Plan and coordinate outbound deliveries of gas, liaising with freight carriers and customers.
Manage the return of rental assets, coordinating with Field Service Engineers and customers.
Oversee inbound deliveries of pure gas supplies, adjusting inventory levels to meet demand.
Maintain accurate inventory records for the gas processing operation.
Optimize freight costs and develop strategies for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure timely dispatch and return of plant assets like cylinders, tanks, and racks.
Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of returned cylinders and racks.
Initiate purchase requests for supplies and consumables.
Manage cylinder tracking apps and propose improvements.
Support procurement needs and assist the Field Service Equipment logistics department.
Approve freight invoices and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
Handle freight claims and negotiate logistics quotes with carriers.
Your Background
College or university diploma/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in gas handling industries or chemical processing.
Proficiency in ERP software and inventory management systems, SAP S/4 HANA is desirable.
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution processes and warehouse management.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, with a strong appreciation for organization, quality, and cleanliness.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and possess strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
Experience with industrial, gas processing, or electrical power testing equipment is desirable.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Fluent in English.
