How You'll Make an Impact
- Establish local Frame Agreements with service and parts suppliers.
- Develop and maintain price lists and standard terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships, including risk management, development, auditing, and contracting.
- Monitor and maintain supplier performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet internal customer service needs.
- Develop pricing strategies across key MDF categories.
- Review and approve Purchase Orders.
- Initiate and support SCM process improvement initiatives.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within transformer services or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with market trends in transformer services and the energy sector.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
