Job Title: US People Compliance Manager
Position will be a hybrid remote AND onsite requirement (no exceptions). Hitachi Energy locations can be based at either our North American headquarters, manufacturing facilities, or HUBs: Raleigh, NC; South Boston, VA; Bland, VA; Alamo, TN; Jefferson City, MO; Crystal Springs, MS; Earth City, MO; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Princeton, NJ; Las Vegas, NV; San Jose, CA; Hillsborough, OR.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Define and implement a People compliance strategy for the US.
- Develop and provide training on HR-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, labor law, and internal agreements.
- Serve as the OFCCP Compliance Officer for the US.
- Drive compliance with Hitachi Energy’s global privacy requirements.
- Lead a network of HR Business Partners and Labor Relations positions.
- Participate in labor contract negotiations and support union-related communications.
- Provide advice and guidance on compliance and labor relations crises.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience
- Relevant professional qualification/accreditation.
- Experience in a global organization with a strategic mindset.
- Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong coaching skills and ability to lead teams through influence.
- Excellent knowledge of HR compliance topics, including EEO and Affirmative Action Plans.
- Significant experience in collective labor relations and facilitating change.
- Manufacturing and/or labor industries relations experiences a strong plus
