WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Hybrid ( 50% Remote)
WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Remote four (4) days /Onsite one (1) day

EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $189,136 - $260,062 annually
This pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for leading the Finance & Accounting operation of HTA and its Foreign Subsidiary Companies. The Sr. Director must thoroughly understand business activity and provide advice to HTA divisions and subsidiary companies to resolve complex business matters.
The Sr. Director will be responsible for directing the operational functions of the Finance division and for ensuring compliance. The individual will develop, implement, and effectively administer programs and processes that meet compliance objectives in the areas of financial reporting, J-SOX reporting, tax, audit, budget, cash flow management, risk management, credit, collection and inventory management.
The Sr. Director will keep current with financial reporting standards and advise management of the impact related to any proposed regulation changes as well as manage their implementation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job and the approximate percentage of time spent on each of the activities; describe what must be accomplished, not how it must be done; include supervision or management responsibilities, quality and quantity standards, and % Time (as applicable.)
(E) Financial Planning and Budgeting
Interact with executive management to establish company mid-term plans, annual budget plans and finance management strategy.
Oversee budget preparation process with corporate and divisional members.
Meet related reporting requirements.
(E) Financial Reporting of HTA and Subsidiaries
Ensure compliance of financial statements relating to HTA and Subsidiary Companies in accordance with applicable regulations (i.e. IFRS, US GAAP, internal control requirements, etc.)
Oversee the submission of reporting requirements established by HHT and Hitachi Ltd.
Provide updates of department status to General Manager along with any issues identified and countermeasures proposed.
(E) Audit and Internal Control (J-SOX) Management
Lead the annual EY audit and J-Sox activity by confirming scope of work and negotiating fees with EY and K-Korps.
Maintain open communication with EY by communicating special issues in advance, obtaining advice and aligning with HHT.
Discuss audit findings and required solutions.
(E) Tax Management and Tax Planning
Strategically plan to minimize the company's tax obligations and keep current on tax developments.
Partner with HTA legal team to meet transfer pricing requirements of HTA, including APA, as well as annual documentation requirements of subsidiaries.
Ensure accuracy of all tax filings, domestic and international.
(E) Treasury Management
Oversee treasury management function, including short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting.
Direct investment and financing activity.
Ensure alignment of cash management policy with that of HHT.
(E) Credit, Accounts Receivable & Inventory Management
Approve AR Portfolio review and credit lines per the HTA Corporate Approval Code
Oversee inventory management and ensure inventory optimization.
Have in depth understanding of customer & vendor business activity and how HTA's products and services will be utilized.
(E) Leadership Responsibilities
Work across functional areas with superiors, peers, and subordinates and ensure collaboration.
Analyze financial data into useable information along with relevant KPI's.
Exercise continuous self-study of corporate issues and related regulations to keep current with corporate matters and needs.
Oversee creation of goals and objectives for finance functional areas by collaborating with managers to ensure that goals cascade to all team members.
Supervise subordinates actively and effectively. Listen to opinions, provide guidance, leadership and coaching necessary to develop individuals.
Maintain effective working relationship with all stakeholders across the organization to foster an environment of cooperation and change.
Utilize effective communication means (i.e. verbal and written) to keep divisional and corporate staff up to date on issues relating to Finance and Accounting.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
(E) Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: 5 years management experience in corporate accounting, finance or risk management.
