Accountabilities The Cyber Security Analyst in support of the RSSOM and HuLRT project is accountable for the digital security posture. The Cyber Security Analyst collaborates and supports a team of technical leaders across multiple areas including safety, civil works, information security, privacy, physical security, internal investigations, personnel training and operation continuation. Provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the effective identification, development, management, and assessment of security initiatives and standards which are aligned with the strategic priorities and business objectives. Directs the coordination of cyber security efforts across the organization partnering with Security & Control, system Technology, Project or Customer Communications, Legal, Facilities management and other groups. Acting as the point of contact for the cyber aspects reporting to the Project Team Leader, to the Contracting Authority and to the Chief Safety and Security Officer in respect of the system cyber security activities. The development and implementation of Security Deliverables including Risk Assessments, System Security Plans. Required Skills/ Knowledge 5 years of experience with at least 4 of these years in positions with Cyber Analyst responsibilities on critical infrastructure projects. Local experience is considered an asset. Desired Skills/ Knowledge The Cyber Security Analyst is required to have confidence with Telecommunications System Architectures, System integration knowledge, SIEM systems, Firewall Management, Active Directory and Radius Configuration Management, Backbone Transmission Systems and Elements, IP Networking - Wired & Wireless The Cyber Security Analyst is required to have, APTA SS-CCS-RP-001-10, APTA SS-CCS-RP-002-13, ISO 27000, NIST, IEC 62443 The Cyber Security Analyst is required to have with Nessus Tool Professional experience for Vulnerability and Penetration Tests Demonstrated experience in conducting cyber risk assessments for critical infrastructure. Experience utilizing standards and industry best practice in the areas of Cyber Risk Management, Cyber Security Mitigation Strategies, Cyber Emergency Management and response. Familiar with situational crime prevention strategies such as CPTED. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, independence and ability to manage priorities; Skilled in interacting with direct and indirect reporting employees and with company managers; Skilled in interacting with subcontractors and with customers and customer representatives; Excellent communication skills and a strong, self-motivated, work ethic; Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access); Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing; Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple demands simultaneously.
