General Information:
Continuous Improvement Specialist focuses on improvements and cost savings to improve the organization's profitability and efficiency across the value stream.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and initiatives for process improvements across the value stream
- Implement and manage CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies
- Develop pipeline of future improvement projects
- Mentor and coach CI project leaders though certification process
- Work across the organization to ensure KPI’s and performance metrics are captured correctly and appropriately reported
- Leverage best practices from across the organization to help drive value and consistency
- Act as a change agent in the organization, challenge the status quo
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering / operational excellence or relevant experience
- Five (5 ) or more years of relevant experience preffered iin application of Lean tools
- Lean Black Belt certification preferred.
- Experience in facilitating Kaizen events required
- E xperienced in effectively leading improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis / implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Experience in facilitating Kazen events
- Ability to effectively communicate results and partner across the organization to establish relationships to drive initiatives and generate value.
