The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks with precision while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Perform frame carpentry, including building structures and frameworks for residential and commercial projects.
- Execute cabinet installation, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Handle door hanging tasks, ensuring doors are properly fitted and functional.
- Engage in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client specifications.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal gaps and improve the finish of carpentry work.
- Assist in tile laying as needed, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
- Participate in construction estimating to assist in project planning and budgeting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is required.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of the restoration industry is advantageous.
- Strong skills in maintenance person tasks are preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.
