Hitemco | A Lincotek Company, a world leader in the coatings industry, seeks a Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Our expertise spans four main divisions: Aerospace, Industrial Gas Turbine, Biomedical, and Equipment. With a global presence across Europe, Asia, and America, we serve a wide range of industries, including aerospace, energy, minerals, and transport.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in manufacturing industry with increasing responsibilities in Quality, Engineering or Operations. Strong focus on quality systems (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP), process qualifications, nonconformance management, continuous improvement is required.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring all metrics for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for the organization are met and trending in the right direction.
- Serving as lead product and process quality expert for customers and internal organization in the case of materials, coatings, and assembly application.
- Managing all source inspections working with the customer and internal organization.
- Analyzing customer required specifications, managing qualification kick-off meetings, and implementing corrective actions.
- Implementing Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve Key Performance Indicators for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Participating in Root Cause Corrective Action activities to permanently eliminate defects.
- Maintaining the implementation and closure of corrective actions.
- Developing reports based on inspection and audit results.
- Participating in audits from external sources.
- Utilizing 8D and DMAIC approach to problem solving and non-conformances.
- Applying and maintaining quality procedures, quality plans, documents and work instructions in accordance with IS09001, AS9100, NADCAP, S1000, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Participating in product development to assure all quality issues are addressed.
- Performing a variety of duties to independently perform dimensional, visual and non-destructive testing of diversified components and assemblies.
- Verifying fabrication and equipment are in compliance with engineering, industry standards and customer approved documents.
- Training of personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
