Overview:

We are currently looking for an Innovation Manager to join our dynamic team at HITRUST.
 

As a HITRUST Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for understanding market and stakeholder needs, brainstorming on potential assurance and technology solutions, analyzing hypotheses and performing experiments, prototyping, and assisting in the hand-off of validated prototypes to our development teams. You will also be involved in defining new features and solutions using your innovative insights and your knack for unravelling complex problems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with business owners and customers to identify potential solutions and ideate on possible ways to tackle them.
• Develop hypotheses and perform experiments to validate or invalidate our assumptions.
• Coding and developing at a rapid pace to quickly gather feedback from business owners.
• Continuously engage business owners in the prototyping process to ingest feedback and refine prototypes.
• Create documentation and runbooks to provide to development team who will operationalize prototypes.

Required Experience and Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or similar discipline
• Proven experience in business analysis.
• Proven experience in SQL and an Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C# and familiar with .NET and a front-end framework like React or Angular.
• Proven experience in both front-end and back-end development.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel. 
• Working knowledge of the business applications and possibilities of AI, with emphasis on generative AI.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experienced in designing, prototyping, and/or developing generative AI solutions.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office automation using VBA and/or VSTO.
• Familiarity with the HITRUST CSF or another security framework, such as NIST SP 800-53, NIST 800 171, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, and AICPA TSC
• Knowledge of security risk management, analysis and assessment concepts and their application.
