About the Role
The Automotive Porter is a crucial member of our team, responsible for maintaining and servicing vehicles at Hixson Auto Group. This role involves interacting with various team members daily, including Service Advisors, Sales Associates, and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Service Write-ups and Vehicle Preparation: Assist with service write-ups, tag customer vehicles, and remove protective coverings.
- Vehicle Inspection and Damage Report: Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning to customers, reporting any damage immediately.
- Customer Transport and Delivery: Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed, perform deliveries, and clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable and able to drive a standard transmission).
