HK Global Trading is seeking an experienced Regional Retail Manager for our California stores. This position is responsible for increasing revenue by leading, mentoring, and training store managers and sales staff. Must be able to travel to territory assigned commercial locations.
Responsibilities
Managing Store Operations
- Ensuring that all stores in the region are running smoothly and efficiently
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Supervising the management of Bonded Merchandise as per U.S. Customs regulations: inventory, record keeping, and sales
Sales and Profitability
- Setting sales targets and working with store managers to achieve them
- Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes
- Cycle Counting, Auditing, etc.
- Analyzing and interpreting marketing trends to participate in a competitive market
- Organizing special promotions and displays as per corporate instructions
Customer Service
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service across all stores
- Ensuring standards for Health & Safety, Quality, and Customer Service are met
- Responding to customer complaints and comments
Staff Management
- Training, and developing store managers and staff
- Conducting employee evaluations and performance reviews
- Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Managing budgets and controlling costs to maximize profitability
- Reviewing and analyzing reports: Slow-moving stock report, Inventory Stock level reports, customer-related reports, etc.
- Ensuring loss and prevention standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related area
- Experience managing multiple retail stores. (5-10 years)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Inventory Management Experience
- Financial profit & loss management
- Prior import/export and/or duty-free store knowledge preferred
- Clear and effective communication with team members, senior management, and customers
- Motivational and strong leadership management skills
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
