Full Job Description

We are seeking an outgoing and talented individual for our shuttle driver position. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for driving the hotel’s shuttle van and providing safe transportation for hotel guests. Assistance with guests’ luggage is frequently required (can be heavy lifting), as well as always giving all guests first-class customer service. Additional responsibilities when the van is not operating will be similar to Houseman duties, assisting Housekeeping and Maintenance.

Duties include

• Safe and efficient driving while obeying all laws, transporting guests
• Assist guests with luggage as needed (can be heavy lifting)
• Assist guests with hotel and area information
• Maintain clean and neat appearance of shuttle van as well as yourself in uniform
• Monitor shuttle van maintenance needs
• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests
• Clean and maintain common areas of the property, including the parking lot
• Deep cleaning of assigned areas
• Setting up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions
• Cleaning and setting up meeting room functions as needed
• Delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk
• Ensure completion of daily assignments efficiently on time
• Report all safety, maintenance, and housekeeping concerns
• Attend and participate in all mandatory training
• Flexible with schedule and assignments
• Maintain effective performance under pressure
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
• Follow guest requests, i.e., do not disturb signs, change of linen, or terry.
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces
• Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete assignments
• May perform other similar duties as requested by the supervisor

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a good record - Company will check the record periodically.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with others – must be a team player
• Good communication skills – Must speak/read/write English
• Ability to give and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 35-50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task
• Display good initiative

• Weekend availability

Work Location: One location

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
